Boring days in camp for the past few weeks. Troopers went outfield for training while me, as a driver, stayed in camp and well, rot. Cleaned our own vehicles and slept in bunk all the way. I wonder if I still can maintain my silver for IPPT... Probably not and that's why I've decided that I need to have some sort of workouts during my days outside. Been doing some running in a nearby park, Bishan Park to be exact. Hope it helps in keeping myself fit. Recently at Sungei Gedong camp, I came across this Twilight New Moon series book from a fellow driver. I got bored and started reading just for killing time and well, got addicted to it.
Watched the Twilight movie on the web and watched New Moon at the big screen and yup, you guessed it, I grew more addicted to it. The vampire-human love story doesn't sound very interesting, just like some old vampire movie mixed with some Korean drama. The thing is that I have always been fond with fictional legends that is so incredible, basically impossible to exist. Twilight is just like another story of a legend with a bit of a twist and is interesting really, to know that vampires don't actually burn at the touch of sunlight but instead, glow. I think its the different kinds of description of the legends in many many different stories/movies that capture my attention. I'm just simply curious about such myth. However, not all has fallen in love with this new vampire movie. I've read about this article on the papers a few days back that there are people out there that actually hate Twilight to the core. They feel that the story is totally ridiculous and immoral. The story seemed to have pissed of some teenagers out there for some reason. I think I will have the answer after I finish reading the 4 books of Twilight. You may think why do I have to go through all these trouble to read all the books to find out the answer instead of just reading the article. Well,
1) I'm somehow addicted to the story and
2) How am I suppose to continue reading that article about people who hate Twilight? I'm the opposite for goodness sake!
*P.S the article showed a picture of some crazy girls tearing up a poster of New Moon (I'm actually craving for that poster!)
Right, back to blogging. Been playing a few games and I'm starting to get bored now. Call of Duty
